a benign, persistently recurrent bullous and vesicular autosomal dominant dermatitis involving chiefly the sides of the neck, axillae, groin, and flexural and apposing surfaces of the body, and characterized by crops of lesions, which may remain localized or become generalized, that rupture, undergo erosion, and become thickly crusted. The histopathologic features are suggestive of keratosis follicularis as well as pemphigus. Called also Hailey-Hailey disease.
