An adjustment is when an appraiser, after examining a specific property, will then make a comparative analysis to properties that are similar, but not specifically the same. Adjustments will then be made relative to the comparative size of the structure, its age and condition, the size of the plot and its location and any amenities that may or may not present (swimming pool, garage, tennis court, etc).
