| Ureaplasma |
a bacteria (from the same family as mycoplasma) found in the genitourinary tract; in women, it may be associated with reproductive failure. It is thought that it may cause an inflammation of the uterine lining that can result in miscarriage (usually an early loss due to implantation problems). Can also contribute to pelvic inflammatory disease in women and production of anti-sperm antibodies in men.
