  • Antigens, CD80 - »õâ The natural ligand for the T-cell antigen CD28; (ANTIGENS, CD28); mediating T- and B-cell adhesion. CD80 is expressed on activated B-cells and gamma-interferon-stimulated monocytes. The binding of CD80 to CD28 and CTLA-4 provides a co-stimulatory signal to T-cells and leads to greatly upregulated lymphokine production.
    Synonyms : Antigen, B7, Antigen, B7-1, B7 Antigen, B7-1 Antigen, CD80 Antigen, Antigen, B7 1, B Cell Activation Antigen, B7 1 Antigen, B7 1 Costimulatory Molecule, Costimulatory Molecule, B7-1
  • Antigens, CD86 - »õâ A CD antigen that plays a role in T-lymphocyte proliferation and interleukin 2 production. It is a co-stimulatory ligand for the CD28 ANTIGEN on T-LYMPHOCYTES and initiates T-cell activation and immune response.
    Synonyms : Antigen, B7-2, B7-2 Antigen, B70 Costimulatory Molecule, CD86 Antigen, Early T Cell Costimulatory Molecule 1, Antigen, B7 2, Antigen, CD86, B7 2 Antigen, Costimulatory Molecule, B7-2, Costimulatory Molecule, B70
  • Antigens, CD94 - »õâ A C-type lectin that associates with NKG2 proteins to form receptors for HLA-E antigen on NATURAL KILLER CELLS.
Synonyms : Antigen CD94, CD94 Antigen, Killer Cell Lectin-Like Receptor Subfamily D, Member 1, Antigen, CD94, CD94, Antigen, Killer Cell Lectin Like Receptor Subfamily D, Member 1
  • Antigens, CD95 - »õâ A tumor necrosis factor receptor subtype found in a variety of tissues and on activated LYMPHOCYTES. It has specificity for FAS LIGAND and plays a role in regulation of peripheral immune responses and APOPTOSIS. Multiple isoforms of the protein exist due to multiple ALTERNATIVE SPLICING. The activated receptor signals via a conserved death domain that associates with specific TNF RECEPTOR-ASSOCIATED FACTORS in the CYTOPLASM.
Synonyms : CD95 Antigen, TNFRSF6 Receptor, fas Antigen, fas Receptor, APO 1 Antigen, Receptor, TNFRSF6, Receptor, fas
  • Antigens, CD98 - »õâ A heterodimeric protein that is a cell surface antigen associated with lymphocyte activation. The initial characterization of this protein revealed one identifiable heavy chain (ANTIGENS, CD98 HEAVY CHAIN) and an indeterminate smaller light chain. It is now known that a variety of light chain subunits (ANTIGENS, CD98 LIGHT CHAINS) can dimerize with the heavy chain. Depending upon its light chain composition a diverse array of functions can be found for this protein. Functions include: type L amino acid transport, type y+L amino acid transport and regulation of cellular fusion.
Synonyms : 4F2 Antigen, 4F2-antigen, CD98 Antigen, CD98 Transport Proteins, FRP-1 protein, H4F2 Antigen, Human 4F2 Antigen, Human 4F2 Cell-Surface Antigen, Human Lymphocyte Activation Antigen 4F2, 4F2 Antigen, Human, Antigen, CD98, FRP 1 protein, Fusion Regulatory Protein 1
