pigmented purpuric lichenoid d. a purpuric cutaneous eruption usually seen in men 40–60 years of age, occurring chiefly on the legs, thighs, and lower trunk, and characterized by the presence of minute, rust-colored, lichenoid papules that tend to fuse into plaques, which may contain variously pigmented papules. Called also Gougerot-Blum syndrome.
