A GM is an inspection of the connection of the gas line and the flue to the furnace. If other gas appliances share the flue then the opening in the flue needs to be capped or the other appliance needs to be installed and connected to the flue. This inspection is usually done at the time of a gas line, but can be done any time after the gas line inspection has been approved.
