electricity
The process of producing electrical energy from other forms of energy; also the amount of electric energy produced, usually expressed in kilowatthours (kWh) or megawatthours (MWh). Gross generation is the electrical output at the terminals of the generator, usually expressed in megawatts (MW). Net generation is gross generation minus the service power requirements of the generating station itself

electric
is the juxtaposition of an electric sheath containing an excess of electrons upon an electric sheath which is electron-deficient. Such a double layer is formed whenever two plasmas of differing electric charge densities meet, for example, between the Sun's photosphere and its corona and between the solar wind and the Earth's plasmasphere. The former double layer forms the solar chromosphere, the latter the Earth's magnetosphere and bow wave.

electric current
a continuous flow of electrons and/or ions, through a material with conducts electricity. A currents usually flows in a closed circuit, without beginning or end. In daily life currents are generally driven through wires by voltages, produced by batteries or generators. In space plasmas, some currents may be produced this way, but many are inherent to the way ions and electrons move through magnetic fields, eg their drifts.
