Typically not part of the Qu?ec highway terminology, but is common to the Interstate Highway System in the US. A spur is a road that branches off the main road to another destination but does not return to the main road like a loop or a bypass would. See also Extension.

Spurious signals are any outputs in the spectrum of a source (VCO) that are neither part of the carrier, not its harmonic and they may be discreet or bands of frequencies. Modco VCO'S do not contain any spurious outputs.
