A labor of land is traditionally 177 acres, more or less and are also 25 equal divisions of a league. Many leagues were further subdivided into labors on the county level and are not part of the Original Texas Land survey. Tobin does not mix county level survey with Original Texas Land Survey. Labors and other county level lot-and-tract surveys (also known as rural subdivisions) are handled as part of property ownership, and as a separate product.
