[Sp, a mild herb, soft herb] A plant (Anemopsis Californica) with a pungent, aromatic rootstock, used medicinally by the Mexicans and the Indians. Yerba reuma. [Cf. Sp. Reuma rheum, rheumatism] A low California undershrub (Frankenia grandifolia).
