| 설명 | 목소리를 내는 데 꼭 필요한 중요한 구조물이다. 성대주위에는 작은 근육들이 존재하여, 하는 소리가 나오도록 해 주는 데, 이 근육들은 주로 되돌이후두신경의 지배를 받고 있으며, 성대의 감각신경은 위후두신경이 맡고 있다. 이중 왼쪽 반회후두신경은 신경의 주행경로상 밑으로 내려갔다 다시 올라와 분포하게 되므로 폐암으로 인한 폐수술시에 손상받기 쉬워서, 수술합병증으로 목쉰소리가 남기도 한다. 또한 성대가 막히면, 공기의 통로가 막히게 되므로 호흡곤란을 유발한다. 성대나 그 주위에서 종양이 발생할 수 있으며, 흡연이 주요한 원인이다. 성대자체에서 종양이 발생하면 목쉰소리가 나타나 쉽게 알 수 있으나, 성대이하부위나, 이상부위에서 발생하면 증상이 늦게 나타나므로, 다른 곳으로의 전이소견이나, 혹은 호흡곤란으로 나타나기도 한다. |

| 설명 | 1. 아동의 배변훈련 및 변실금 또는 배변곤란증(상습변비)에 대한 훈련. 습관의 재훈련이 중요하다. 2. 배설을 화장실에서 행하는 습관을 만드는 일이다. 개인차가 있겠으나, 1년 6개월부터 이미 약 60%는 가리기를 시작하여 배변 →배뇨(낮) →배뇨(밤)의 순으로 3세반 경에는 대부분 습관이 형성된다. 배설의 가리기에는 어린이측의 조임근의 성숙과 가리기 과정에서의 어른의 충분한 지도-지지-수용이 중요하다. 강제적으로 시키거나, 배설에 실패하였을 때에 엄하게 벌을 주거나 하면, 어린이에게 적의나 불안을 심어주어, 자존심이나 자신을 잃어 자율심도 키우기 어렵다. |

| 설명 | 사시에서 눈의 운동에 대한 교정을 위하여 시행하는 눈근육 훈련. 정상적으로 어떤 한 점을 주시할 때, 두 눈은 그 점을 향하여 같은 방향을 주시하도록 되어 있다. 이 이유는 그 점에 대해 양쪽눈의 망막대응점이 서로 동일하기 때문이다. 그러나, 어떤 이유로든 망막대응점이 달라지게 되면, 한 점을 주시할 때 한쪽 눈은 한쪽을 바라보는데 다른 쪽 눈은 그 반대쪽을 바라보게 된다. 이것을 사시라고 하는데 여기에는 그 방향에 따라 내사시, 외사시, 상사시, 하사시 등이 있다. |
