| 설명 | 과거의 일을 기억하지 못하는 상태. 뇌의 기질적인 손상에 의할 수도 있고 심리적인 원인에 의한 것일 수도 있다. ① 전향기억상실증(antegrade amnesia)는 주로 뇌의 기질적인 병터가 있을 경우에 생기는 기억상실증. 어떤 사건(자동차사고나 중풍 등)이 생기기 이전의 일은 기억하지만 이후의 일은 기억하지 못하는 것을 말한다. ② 정신성 기억상실증(psychogenic amnesia)은 뇌의 기질적인 병터가 없이 심리적인 원인에 의한 기억상실증. 대개 심한 스트레스나 내부적 갈등 후에 온다. 예후는 좋아서 거의 대부분 기억을 되찾게 된다. ③ 역행기억상실증(retrograde amnesia)은 전향성 기억상실증과 반대되는 경우로 어떤 사건이 있은 후 그 이후의 일은 기억하지만 그 이전의 일은 기억하지 못하는 것이다. |

| 설명 | 눈을 한곳에 고정시킨 채, 관찰할 수 있는 주변공간을 시야라 한다. 시야를 검사하는 가장 간단한 방법은 대면검사(confronting test)이다. 이것은 피검사자의 눈을 검사자의 눈에 맞추어 보도록 하여 눈을 고정시킨채, 검사자가 손가락끝을 위쪽, 아래쪽, 왼쪽, 오른쪽, 그리고 비스듬히 경사진 곳 등으로 옮겨보아 피검사자가 관찰할 수 있는지 여부를 정하는 검사법이다. 이보다 정확한 검사법은 자동식 컴퓨터시야검사법이 있다. 대개, 눈자체의 이상이 있어도 시야검사에서 이상이 나오지만, 이외 뇌의 이상으로 시각의 형성경로에 이상이 있어도 역시 이상소견을 보인다. |
