TRIS includes all facilities which release toxic chemicals in reportable quantities to the air, water or land as required under SARA (Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization of 1986), Title III, Section 313. Reporting covers approximately 20,000 sites and is required (Form R) each July 1st for the previous year.
