parosteal osteosarcoma <tumour> Low grade osteosarcoma arising on the surface of bone without involvement of the underlying marrow, usually occurring as a heavily ossified mass of the distal femur in women in the third and fourth decades of life.

periosteal osteosarcoma <tumour> Chondroblastic osteosarcoma occurring on the surface of bones without involvement of the marrow; usually presents in adolescents and young adults as a lucent defect with bone spicules extending into soft tissues. Histologically, the tumour is intermediate to high grade, and the cartilage is lobulated.

telangiectatic wart A discrete, pink to red telangiectasia having a tendency to undergo secondary epithelial changes, including acanthosis and hyperkeratosis. An underlying vascular abnormality is present in many cases. The term angiokeratoma is applied to a number of quite distinct conditions which share a common clinical presentation with asymptomatic hyperkeratotic vascular skin lesions and a histological combination of superficial dermal vascular ectasia.
