| 설명 | 신경세포를 이루는 구성조직의 하나이다. 수초는 각 신경을 둘러싸고 있으며, 전기적 전달에 대해 절연체를 형성함으로써, 빠른 신경전달이 이루어지도록 해준다. 또한 각 말이집 사이사이에는 패임 이 형성되어 란비에결절(Ranvier's node) 이 존재하는데 이 결절사이를 신경전달에 있어서 점프식으로 진행되므로 빠른 전달이 가능해진다. |

| clubbed digits | <clinical sign> A condition which describes the broadening or thickening of the tips of the fingers (and toes) with increased lengthwise curvature of the nail and a decrease in the angle normally seen between the cuticle and the fingernail. Often this finding on physical examination can be quite subtle and easily overlooked. Clubbing may be seen in a wide variety of conditions - most of which result in a decrease in blood oxygen. Examples include: tetralogy of Fallot, transposition of the great vessels, atrial myxomas, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, lung cancer, tuberculosis, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, Hodgkin's disease, cirrhosis, chronic active hepatitis and Crohn's disease. | sarcoma, synovial | A malignant neoplasm arising from tenosynovial tissue of the joints and in synovial cells of tendons and bursae. The legs are the most common site, but the tumour can occur in the abdominal wall and other trunk muscles. There are two recognised types: the monophasic (characterised by sheaths of monotonous spindle cells) and the biphasic (characterised by slit-like spaces or clefts within the tumour, lined by cuboidal or tall columnar epithelial cells).
