| 설명 | 다음과 같은 세 가지 결정요인이 작용하는 언어 행동의 문제. ① 말이 유창하지 못한 것으로 단어의 일부 또는 전부의 반복, 음의 연장, 음이나 단어의 뜻하지 않은 발음, 끊긴 상태의 과도연장 등. ② 듣는 사람에게 이상하고 받아들여지기 어렵다고 평가되는 반응. ③ 자신이 말더듬이라는 생각에 대한 자신의 반응. 말더듬(stuttering)은 일반적으로 stammering과 구별되는데, stammering은 말하는 도중에 막히고, 불수의적으로 중단되며, 때로는 음을 반복하는 것을 특징으로 한다. |

| 설명 | 정상적인 걸음걸이가 불가능한 상태. 중추 신경이나 다리의 근육 장애 때문에 생기는 것으로 실조성 보행, 소뇌성 보행, 마비성 보행, 아장아장 걷기 등이 있다. 성인의 경우에는 뼈-관절의 중대한 외상이나 만성류마티스관절을 비롯하여, 뇌혈관장애에 의한 반신마비, 척수손상-파킨슨증후군-근육위축가쪽경화증 등이 원인이 된다. 어린이의 경우는 심한 정신지체-뇌성마비-진행성근육위축증-진행성근육퇴행위축 등에 의한 것이 있다. 한때는 선천성 엉덩관절탈구에 의한 보행장애를 볼 수 있었으나, 요즘에는 조기진단-조기치료로 거의 볼수 없다. |
