Sharpey's fibers The fibers forming the lamellae constituting the walls of the haversian canals in bone.

Sharpey's perforating fibers 1. The fibers extending from the periosteum into the lamellae of bone. 2. The fibers extending from the periodontal ligament into the cementum of a tooth.
Ãâó:
Sharpey's f.’s 1. collagenous fibers that pass from the periosteum and are embedded in the outer circumferential and interstitial lamellae of bone; called also bone f's.  2. terminal portions of principal fibers that insert into the cementum of a tooth. Called also perforating f's.
