The botanical name for Saw Palmetto is Serenoa Repens. The plant is also known as Sabal or Permixon in some countries. Saw Palmetto has been used to treat an enlarged prostate in the same way as Proscar and some companies are using it in formulations to treat Androgenetic Alopecia.
