Remak's fibres A fibre having no myelin covering (CNS); a naked axon; in the PNS represented by all axons lying in troughs in a single Schwann cell (Schwann cell unit); a slow conducting fibre.
Synonym: gray fibres, nonmedullated fibres, Remak's fibres.
