A type of cell that appears in people with Hodgkin's disease. The number of these cells increases as the disease advances.

The malignant cell in Hodgkin lymphoma. It takes various forms but is classically a large cell with two nuclei that is derived from aB lymphocyte. Thus, Hodgkin disease is now classified as aB cell lymphoma.
