| 설명 | 원소기호는 같으나 중성자수가 다른 것을 동위원소라 하며, 방사능을 가지는 동위원소를 방사성 동위원소라고 한다. 이들은 안정된 동위원소로 핵반응기, 사이클로트론을 사용하여 만들어 낼 수 있는데, 이들은 핵의학 스캔, 방사 면역측정, 암의 치료에 이용된다. 이것은 3가지의 방사선입자를 분비하는데 알파입자, 베타입자, 감마입자가 그것이다. 이중 감마입자는 투과성이 뛰어나 진단과 치료에 많이 이용된다. |
