[EC 5.3.99.2] an enzyme of the isomerase class that catalyzes the conversion of the intermediate prostaglandin H2 (PGH2) to prostaglandin D2 (PGD2). The enzyme requires glutathione. See illustration at prostaglandin. Called also endoperoxide-D-isomerase and prostaglandin-H2 D-isomerase.
