| 설명 | 승모판이 좌심실운동시 제대로 닫혀주지 못하고 빠져나오는 상태로서 주로 젊은 여성에게서 발견된다. 다른 말로 청진상의 소견을 따서 “clickmurmur syndrome”이라고도 하고 혹은 처음 발견한 의사의 이름을 따서 “Barlow's syndrome”이라고도 한다. 개 정상적인 삶을 누리게 되나, 일부에서 심내막염(심장내막의 염증: endocarditis)의 위험이 증가하므로 치과적 시술시 예방적 항생제가 필요하기도 하다. |

| mitral valve prolapse | <cardiology> A systolic click-murmur syndrome, floppy-valve syndrome and billowing mitral leaflet syndrome. There is also an increased familial incidence suggesting an autosomal dominant form of inheritance.
