prenylamine <chemical> A drug formerly used in the treatment of angina pectoris but superseded by less hazardous drugs. Prenylamine depletes myocardial catecholamine stores and has some calcium channel blocking activity.
Pharmacological action: adrenergic agents, calcium channel blockers, vasodilator agents.
