premalignant f. an uncommon, usually indolent, variant of basal cell carcinoma presenting as a firm sessile to pedunculated papule, usually located on the lower trunk or lumbosacral area in middle-aged or older adults. Histologically it is characterized by prominent stromal fibrosis with long anastomosing cords of basal cells. Called also premalignant fibroepithelial tumor.
