| 설명 | 원래 약물투여의 암시적 효과만으로 약리작용을 나타내지 않는 것. 속임약을 투여함에 따라 나타나는 효과를 속임약효과라고 하며, 암시를 유발하는 힘이 강할수록 그 효과가 높다. 예를 들어 고가제품, 입수하기 어려운 제품, 외국 제품 등이 이에 해당하며, 캡슐에 들어간 약물은 정제보다도 속임약효과가 높다. 한편 반대인 마이너스 속임약효과도 있어, 본래는 없었을 부작용을 보이는 일도 있다. 실제로는 생리 작용이 없는 물질로 만든 약으로 젖당-녹말-우유 따위를 이용하며, 어떤 약물의 효과를 시험하거나 환자를 일시적으로 안심시키기 위하여 투여한다. |
