| parahippocampal gyrus |
a convolution located on the medial surface of the temporal lobe bounded by the collateral and hippocampal sulci and continuous posteriorly with the lingual gyrus. It is separated from the occipitotemporal (fusiform) gyrus laterally by the collateral and rhinal sulci.
