| nf-kappa b | Ubiquitous, inducible, nuclear transcriptional activator that binds to enhancer elements in lymphoid cells. In B-lymphocytes nf-kappa b binds to the immunoglobulin kappa light chain enhancer and in T-lymphocytes it has been shown to bind to the enhancers in virally infected cells including HIV.
