monophenol monooxygenase <enzyme> An enzyme of the oxidoreductase class that catalyses the reaction between l-tyrosine, l-dopa, and oxygen to yield l-dopa, dopaquinone, and water. It is a copper protein that acts also on catechols, catalyzing some of the same reactions as catechol oxidase.

camphor 5-monooxygenase <enzyme> A monooxygenase haem-thiolate (cytochrome p-450) with camphor bound at the active site. It acts as the terminal monooxygenase in the d-camphor monooxygenase system.
