| 설명 | 저칼슘혈증(hypocalcemia)에서 나타나는 현상으로서 신경근육의 흥분도가 증가된 상태이다. 원인은 부갑상샘 저하증, 인(phosphate)의 과다한 섭취: 저마그네슘혈증 등이다. 사지의 근육에 긴장연축(tonic spasm)이 와서 팔목과 엄지손가락을 안으로 구부리고, 손가락은 움츠려든다. 발은 선천성 곤봉발에서와 같이 펴지고, 발바닥은 컵모양을 하고 발가락은 구부린다. |

| 설명 | 유아에게 모유 또는 우유를 먹이는 일. 수유의 개시는 출생 후 10시간 전후이며, 신생아가 깊은 잠에서 깨어났을 때 주기 시작한다. 모유는 1년 정도로 중지하고, 우유나 유제품에 의한 수유는 젖병에서 컵으로 이행한다. 특히, 유아기 전반의 유즙기에는 영양으로서 중요한 의미를 지닐 뿐만 아니라 심리적인 요구를 충족시키고 식습관의 기초를 이룬다는 의미도 지닌다. 수유 횟수는 유아나 모친의 상태에 따라 개인차가 있으나 신생아기에는 3시간마다 하루에 6~8회, 4개월경부터는 4시간마다 하루에 5~6회 정도로 하는 것이 보통이다. |
