| 설명 | 1. 매개체, 때로 어떤 숙주로부터 다음 숙주로 병원체를 옮기는 동물. 특히 전염성 질환을 매개하는 것을 말한다. 생물매개체(biologic vector)는 절족동물을 말하며, 기계적매개체(mechanical vector)는 전염성 병원체를 하나의 숙주로부터 다른 숙주로 운반하나 기생체의 생활주기에는 필수적이지 않은 매개 절족동물을 말하며, 광견병을 매개하는 개나 말라리아를 매개하는 모기 등이 있다. 2. 벡터, 크기와 방향을 가지는 양. 일반적으로 직선화살표로 표시하는데, 직선의 길이가 크기를, 화살표 끝이 방향을 나타낸다. |
