eunuchoidism A state in which testes are present but fail to function normally; may be of gonadal or pituitary origin.
Synonym: eunuchism, male hypogonadism.
Hypergonadotropic eunuchoidism, eunuchoidism of gonadal origin, commonly accompanied by enhanced levels of pituitary gonadotropins in the blood and urine, as in Klinefelter's syndrome.
