Bier's hyperaemia An obsolete term for hyperaemia produced by Bier's method.
Collateral hyperaemia, increased blood flow through abundant collateral channels when the circulation through the main artery to a part is arrested, as when the blood supply to one lung or to a portion of it is occluded the blood flow to the other lung or portion of a lung is increased.
Constriction hyperaemia, obsolete term for hyperaemia produced by Bier's method.
