| 설명 | 편도, 특히 입천장편도의 염증. 감기에 걸리거나 환절기 때, 과로 따위의 이유로 생긴다. 편도가 벌겋게 붓고 음식물을 넘기기 힘들게 된다. 사슬알균 감염에 의한 것이 대부분으로 열, 두통, 목부위, 림프절비대를 동반한다. |

| 설명 | 1~3세 소아에서 보는 입주위의 염증중 가장 흔한 원인이 되는 병이다. 병의 진행에 따라 피부병터가 생기기 이전의 전구기와 피부의 병변이 생기는 발진기로 나눌 수가 있다. 전구기에 고열(39.4~40.0℃) 및 구강의 동통을 동반하면서 급속히 발병할 수도 있고, 보채면서 서서히 발병할 수도 있다. 발진기에는 잇몸이 빨갛게 되고, 구강 점막에 작은 물집이 생긴다. 이 물집은 곧 터져 작은 궤양이 생기고, 그 위에 회백색의 곱이 낀다. 입에서는 특이한 냄새가 나고, 잇몸에서 출혈이 있다. 기타 임상 증세로 대개 턱 밑의 림프절이 커져 있다. 입이 아파서 음식을 잘 먹지 않고 보채며, 물을 먹지 않아서 탈수증이 나타나는 수도 있다. 대개 10일간 경과하고 저절로 낫게 된다. |
