| 영문 | fracture | 한글 | 골절 |
|---|---|---|---|

| fracture fixation, internal | The use of internal devices (metal plates, nails, rods, etc.) to hold the position of a fracture in proper alignment. (12 Dec 1998) |
|---|
| internal fixation | The use of internal metal plates, screws or rods to stabilise bone fragments. A procedure used to correct serious orthopaedic bone fractures that cannot be stabilised by casting or splinting. See: external fixation. (27 Sep 1997) |

| fracture fixation | The use of metallic devices inserted into or through bone to hold a fracture in a set position and alignment while it heals. (12 Dec 1998) |
| ammonia fixation | The utilization of ammonia (or ammonium ions) in the net synthesis of nitrogen-containing molecules; e.g., glutamine synthetase. Synonym: ammonia fixation. (05 Mar 2000) |
| bifoveal fixation | A condition in which both eyes are simultaneously directed to the same target. Synonym: bifoveal fixation. (05 Mar 2000) |
