| 설명 | 1. 마음 가운데에 형상, 또는 개념을 형성하는 것. 생각하는 일, 마음먹는 일. 분명하게 정의를 내릴 수는 없으나 일반적으로는 어느 대상-사태 또는 그러한 것들의 측면을 지각의 작용에 직접 의존하지 않으면서도 그것과 서로 상보적 작용으로 이해하고 파악하는 활동 또는 과정을 가리킨다. 사고란 항상 누구나 겪는 자명한 행위로서 R.데카르트는 사고를 존재의 첫 번째 표시라고 했고, 아리스토텔레스는 새로운 타당한 판단인 추리를 이끌어내는 과정이라고 하였다. 따라서 논리법칙이 사고의 법칙이라고 보아, 삼단논법의 세 요소인 개념-판단-추리가 동시에 사고의 요소가 된다. |

| concrete thinking |
A style of thinking in which the individual sees each situation as unique and is unable to generalize from the similarities between situations. Language and perceptions are interpreted literally so that a proverb such as "a stitch in time saves nine" cannot be readily grasped.
