| 설명 | 신경세포를 이루는 구성조직의 하나이다. 수초는 각 신경을 둘러싸고 있으며, 전기적 전달에 대해 절연체를 형성함으로써, 빠른 신경전달이 이루어지도록 해준다. 또한 각 말이집 사이사이에는 패임 이 형성되어 란비에결절(Ranvier's node) 이 존재하는데 이 결절사이를 신경전달에 있어서 점프식으로 진행되므로 빠른 전달이 가능해진다. |

| peroneal muscular atrophy | A group of three familial peripheral neuromuscular disorders, sharing the common feature of marked wasting of the more distal extremities, particularly the peroneal muscle groups, resulting in "stork legs."
