| 설명 | 척수액사이로 방사선사진상에서 하얗게 나오는 조영제를 넣어 이상유무를 알아보는 방사선진단법. 주로 척수막의 종양이나, 척수자체의 종양, 혹은 척추원반탈출증 등의 진단에 이용되어진다. 요즘은 전산단층촬영이나, 자기공명영상기계에 밀려 거의 쓰이지 않고 있다. |

| 설명 | 척추 중에서 목부분을 이루는 척추뼈를 이르는 말이다. 척주의 시작인 첫번째 척추뼈에서부터 7번째 척추뼈까지를 말한다. 목있는 폴립(sessile polyp) 기시부가 넓은 모양을 가지고 내강내로 돌출되어 나온 폴립을 말한다. 이에 비해 좁은 줄기에 의해 지탱되는 폴립을 목있는 폴립이라 한다. |

| myelogram | <investigation> A diagnostic procedure where a radiopaque contrast dye is injected into the spinal canal. X-rays are then performed which reveal the anatomy of the spinal canal.
