| 설명 | 히스타민이란 비만세포과 호염기구라는 세포에 많이 있는 물질로써 기능은 다음과 같다. 1. 모세혈관의 이완과 투과성의 증가 2. 내장에 분포하는 근육의 수축 3. 위산의 분비촉진 4. 심장박동수의 증가 히스타민이 분비되어 다른 세포에 영향을 주어 위와 같은 역할을 하려면 반드시 세포표면에 있는 히스타민 수용체와 결합을 하여야한다. 이 히스타민 수용체에는 두 가지가 있다. 하나는 H1-수용체라고 하는 것인데 이 수용체는 위의 작용중에서 1, 2번의 작용을 매개한다. 즉 H1-수용체에 히스타민이 부착할 때에 위의 1, 2번과 같은 작용이 일어난다. 다른 하나는 H2-수용체라고 하는 것인데 3, 4번의 작용을 매개한다. 그리고 안티히스타민도 각각 H1-수용체에 작용하는 것이 있고, H2-수용체에 작용하는 것이 있다. |

| 설명 | 피부를 날카로운 바늘로 긁어 피부의 반응을 보는 검사로 피부 과민반응이나 알레르기를 알아보기 위한 검사이다. 바늘끝에 항원을 묻힌 뒤, 피부밑을 긁어 반응을 알아본다. 이때 항원이 아닌 대조물질(예를 들어 보통의 물)을 묻힌 바늘을 같이 반응하여 피부묘기증(dermographism) 단지 바늘의 긁힘만으로 알레르기 같은 반응을 일으키는 현상과 감별해야 한다. 난청, 청력소실(hearing loss) 청각이 저하 또는 상실된 상태. 원인과 정도는 여러 가지인데, 난청은 그 정도가 가장 심한 상태이다. 청각의 전도경로에 장애가 있을 때 난청이 일어나고, 그 병터가 외이도나 중이에 있는 것을 전음난청, 내이에 있는 것을 감음 난청이라 하여 구분한다. 또 병터의 자리를 명시하여 중이성 난청이나 미로성 난청 등으로 세분하기도 한다. |

| 설명 | 대변내에 있을 수 있는 잠혈(눈에 보이지 않는 출혈)유무를 검사하는 방법으로, 혈구내의 heme peroxidase에 의해 guaiac이 산화되는 반응을 이용하여 측정한다. 방법은 3일간에 걸쳐 한 변에서 2군데씩 채취하여 검사한다. 위양성 반응(거짓으로 혈액이 있다고 나타나는 반응)은 식물 과산화효소를 함유하고 있는 홍당무의 섭취나 혈구 성분을 함유하고 있는 고기 섭취 등에서 나타날 수 있으며, 위음성 반응(실제로 혈액은 있지만, 혈액이 없다고 나타나는 반응)은 환원력을 가지고 있는 비타민 C의 복용시 나타날 수 있다. 특히 위양성 반응이 매우 흔하다. |
