| 설명 | 통증을 경감시켜 주는 약. 여기에는 마약성진통제(narcotic analgesics)와 비마약성진통제(non-narcotic analgesics)가 있다. 엔돌핀, 몰핀, 코데인 등의 대부분의 마약들이 마약성진통제에 속한다. 이런 종류의 진통제들은 대개 중독성이 있으며 계속 사용시 신체의 황폐화를 가져올 수 있어 사용상 주의를 요한다. 비마약성진통제는 중독성이 없고 계속 사용해도 신체적인 나쁜 영향이 비교적 적다. 그리고 그리 강도가 세지 않은 통증의 완화에 좋다. 이것에 속하는 약으로는 아스피린, 타이레놀, 프로폭사펜 등이 있다. |
