  • Threonine - »õâ An essential amino acid occurring naturally in the L-form, which is the active form. It is found in eggs, milk, gelatin, and other proteins.
    Synonyms : L-Threonine, L Threonine
  • Threonine Dehydratase - »õâ A pyridoxal-phosphate protein that catalyzes the deamination of THREONINE to 2-ketobutyrate and AMMONIA. The role of this enzyme can be biosynthetic or biodegradative. In the former role it supplies 2-ketobutyrate required for ISOLEUCINE biosynthesis, while in the latter it is only involved in the breakdown of threonine to supply energy. This enzyme was formerly listed as EC 4.2.1.16.
Synonyms : Threonine Ammonia-Lyase, Ammonia-Lyase, Threonine, Deaminase, Threonine, Dehydrase, Threonine, Dehydratase, Threonine, Threonine Ammonia Lyase
  • Threonine-tRNA Ligase - »õâ An enzyme that activates threonine with its specific transfer RNA. EC 6.1.1.3.
Synonyms : Thr-tRNA Ligase, Threonyl-tRNA Synthetase, Ligase, Thr-tRNA, Ligase, Threonine-tRNA, Synthetase, Threonyl-tRNA, Thr tRNA Ligase, Threonine tRNA Ligase, Threonyl tRNA Synthetase
  • Threshold Limit Values - »õâ Standards for limiting worker exposure to airborne contaminants. They are the maximum concentration in air at which it is believed that a particular substance will not produce adverse health effects with repeated daily exposure. It can be a time-weighted average (TLV-TWA), a short-term value (TLV-STEL), or an instantaneous value (TLV-Ceiling). They are expressed either as parts per million (ppm) or milligram per cubic meter (mg/m3).
    Synonyms : STEL, TLV-BLV, TLV-Biological Limit Value, TLV-Ceiling, TLV-STEL, TLV-TWA, TLV-Time Weighted Average, STELs, TLV BLV, TLV Ceiling, TLV STEL, TLV TWA, TLV-BLVs, TLV-Ceilings, TLV-STELs, TLV-TWAs
  • Thrombasthenia - »õâ A congenital bleeding disorder with prolonged bleeding time, absence of aggregation of platelets in response to most agents, especially ADP, and impaired or absent clot retraction. Platelet membranes are deficient in or have a defect in the glycoprotein IIb-IIIa complex (PLATELET GLYCOPROTEIN GPIIB-IIIA COMPLEX).
    Synonyms : Thrombasthenia, Glanzmann, Thrombasthenias
