RBD is the name of a recently formed mexican pop group that grew popular from a prime-time soap opera in Televisa called "Rebelde". This soap opera is aimed to have a second season, which is not common on mexican soap operas. The script was originally written in Argentina, but it was imported and revised to make it fit into the whole Latin American market.
