| Pseudamphistomum |
a genus of trematodes of the family Opisthorchiidae; called also Pseudoamphistomum. P. trunca´tum is found in the bile ducts of cats, dogs, seals, deer, and occasionally humans in Europe and India and causes a condition resembling opisthorchiasis.
