penicillin G procaine <chemical> (2s-(2 alpha,5 alpha,6 beta))-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-6-((phenylacetyl)amino)-4-thia-1-azabicyclo(3.2.0)heptane-2-carboxylic acid compound with 2-(diethylamino)ethyl) 4-aminobenzoate (1:1) monohydrate. Semisynthetic antibiotic prepared by combining penicillin G with procaine and which has a more prolonged action than penicillin G.
Pharmacological action: penicillins.
