| 설명 | 의학, 치과학 또는 수의학의 대학졸업학위를 가지고 국가에서 의사면허를 취득하여 의업에 종사하는 자를 말하며, 의료법에 따르면 의료 및 보건지도를 관장함으로써 공중보건의 향상-증진에 기여하며 국민의 건강한 생활을 확보할 임무를 띠고 있다. 의사면허의 취득에는 국가시험에 합격하는 것이 필수조건이며 면허는 보건복지부의 의사명부에 등록됨으로써 이루어지고 면허가 교부된다. 의사의 명칭에는 독점규정이 있으며 의사의 의무로서 진료의 의무, 보건지도의 의무, 진료기록 기재-보존의 의무 등이 있다. |

The function of either the left, right, or both ventricles can thus be supported for days to weeks. Either recovery of heart function or need for transplantation then becomes apparent.
