nylidrin <chemical> A beta-adrenergic agonist. Nylidrin causes peripheral vasodilation, a positive inotropic effect, and increased gastric volume of gastric juice. It is used in the treatment of peripheral vascular disorders and premature labour.
Pharmacological action: adrenergic beta-agonists, sympathomimetic, tocolytic agents, vasodilator agents.
Chemical name: Benzenemethanol, 4-hydroxy-alpha-(1-((1-methyl-3-phenylpropyl)amino)ethyl)-

nylidrin hydrochloride 1-(p-Hydroxyphenyl)-2-(1-methyl-3-phenylpropylamino) propanol hydrochloride;a sympathomimetic agent, similar to isoproterenol, that produces vasodilation of arterioles of skeletal muscles and increases muscle blood flow; used in the treatment of peripheral vascular diseases.
