  • N,N-Dimethyltryptamine - »õâ An N-methylated indoleamine derivative, a serotonergic hallucinogen found in several plants, especially Prestonia amazonica (Apocynaceae) and in mammalian brain, blood, and urine. It apparently acts as an agonist at some types of serotonin receptors and an antagonist at others.
    Synonyms : N, N Dimethyltryptamine
  • N-Acetylgalactosamine-4-Sulfatase - »õâ An arylsulfatase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the 4-sulfate groups of the N-acetyl-D-galactosamine 4-sulfate units of chondroitin sulfate and dermatan sulfate. A deficiency of this enzyme is responsible for the inherited lysosomal disease, Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome (MUCOPOLYSACCHARIDOSIS VI). EC 3.1.6.12.

  • N-Acetylgalactosaminyltransferases - »õâ Enzymes that catalyze the transfer of N-acetylgalactosamine from a nucleoside diphosphate N-acetylgalactosamine to an acceptor molecule which is frequently another carbohydrate. EC 2.4.1.-.
    Synonyms : N-Acetylgalactosamine Transferases, N Acetylgalactosamine Transferases, N Acetylgalactosaminyltransferases, Transferases, N-Acetylgalactosamine
  • N-Acetylglucosaminyltransferases - »õâ Enzymes that catalyze the transfer of N-acetylglucosamine from a nucleoside diphosphate N-acetylglucosamine to an acceptor molecule which is frequently another carbohydrate. EC 2.4.1.-.
    Synonyms : N-Acetylglucosamine Transferases, N Acetylglucosamine Transferases, N Acetylglucosaminyltransferases, Transferases, N-Acetylglucosamine
  • N-Acetylhexosaminyltransferases - »õâ Enzymes that catalyze the transfer of N-acetylhexosaminyl groups to an acceptor molecule which is frequently another carbohydrate. EC 2.4.1.
    Synonyms : N-Acetylhexosamine Transferases, N Acetylhexosamine Transferases, N Acetylhexosaminyltransferases, Transferases, N-Acetylhexosamine
