| Myrothecium |
a genus of Fungi Imperfecti of the form-class Hyphomycetes that contaminates grasses and contains roridins and verrucarins, causing myrotheciotoxicosis. Certain species contain trichothecenes and can cause alimentary toxic aleukia. Species include M. ro´ridum and M. verruca´ria.
