MTX is an automobile that has been made in Czechoslovakia and now in the Czech Republic by MTX R5 sp.o.o of Prague since1969. MTX is short for Metalex. Originally, it was a repair shop for Skoda racers. The first single-seater racer, ""MTX 1-01", appeared in1970. During the 1980s, Formula Easter cars, (buggies) and rally cars were produced.
