rare condition in the part of the brain known as the cerebellum (found at the back of the head toward the base of the skull). The affected cells are not completely understood, but it's believed to be a hamartomatous growth

| Lhermitte's sign |
Occurs on neck flexion and implies spinal cord compression or other abnormality. Patient experiences a sensation like an electric shock in the limbs. Most common in cervical myelopathy due to stenosis resulting from degenerative change and demyelination (multiple sclerosis).
